What scares you?
Do one thing that scares you every day. Well, it appears that I am doing two things that scare me each day.
Earlier this year, I decided to write a sequel to Vermin 2.0. Then I got thinking. I know, that can be dangerous. To paraphrase S.R. Hadden from Contact "why write one when you can write two in twice the time?" So that's what I'm doing. I've tasked myself to write two more books in the Vermin series this year.
That scares me. Writing novels back to back. Without pause. I've never done that before. Every day I think about both stories (writing one and thinking of the other) and hope I can pull it off.
I have two workable outlines now, and I'm about to start first drafts. If I could clone myself, I would, but for now, the books will be written sequentially and as quickly as I can. Currently, that's not very fast. I will forever be amazed by the authors that can write 10,000 words per day.
Things are moving forward. Watch for a fall release of one and hopefully two more Vermin-themed books.
