I'm still on track to finish the first draft in early November, despite my productivity hiccups in the past couple of weeks.
That's the power of word count averages! I don't have to beat myself up about falling below my self-imposed writing quota every once in a while. I can see the end approaching, and I'm quite excited about it.
Detest-A-Pest #4 will mark my tenth novel and 920,000 published words. What a ride it's been.
I've been thinking about tackling a different genre next. But what? Perhaps thriller or mystery? Or a different sub-genre of horror? One thing I know for sure is that I'll break a million published words with my 11th novel, so I'll want to make it a good one, hopefully a new series.
What shall I write next?๐
